When I went out to get breakfast this morning this was the sight that confronted me at 9 o'clock.

The body wasn't cremated because the man died from a Cobra bite. When death is from a Cobra bite the body is wrapped in Banana leafs and put into the Ganga.
Some bodies are not cremated because Hindu's believe that when the body is cremated that the poison will be released into the atmosphere, e.g. lepers & Cobra bites.
Also bodies of children under the age of 10, people Babas (Holy men), these bodies are also just put into the Ganga.

What a horrilbe sight. How did you get round the boat to take the shot.
I never knew they do this to cobra bite victims.Burial is a better option. i know small children are buried.
More pollution in the river.
